Managers Whispering Behind Closed Doors

I’m hearing from several senior managers that with all the recent cuts, they don’t have adequate support for some of their applications. Experienced senior team members are being cut and the remaining staff are struggling. Some managers stated they’re looking elsewhere because there’s no incentive to continue to work in this environment. Raises and bonuses are just as bad for them. It’s so sad what senior mgmt has done to this company. Destroying it from the inside.

On my floor they’re in there putting together a March Madness pool. It won’t just be whispering once the tourney gets going if history is any judge.

Hey no scrote guy, your spelling and grammar are absolutely atrocious as is your reading comprehension. It's deliciously ironic since you told someone "make sense if you’re going to try to sling insults" in a post riddled with spelling and grammar errors where you even misquoted the person. Apparently even copy/paste is beyond your grasp as well.

If you really are a proud employee at BNY, none of this is surprising. Your clown show here is endemic of the management currently in the organization.

@ljl+13RZEWCF, sorry to let you down toots, but my work is all done. As always. Maybe you and your minions wouldn’t have to worry about getting axed if you did the same. Try doing something other than whine on here. I’m sorry , but crying like a b–ch in here everyday is going to help you accomplish what? This site is pretty entertaining which is why I check it. You think someone is going to come to your rescue. Nieve

@qwc+13RZEWCF This is not the office, we can discuss all issues here. Maybe, you should follow your advice, focus on your work and stop coming to these "gossip sites" and waste your time.

@cnl+13RZEWCF, I’m totally a true lackey as you say. My lackey a– earned my position as a mgr thank you. I’m not saying they don’t pull bs cause I’ve witnessed my self but sh– rolls down hill . You act like no other companies do the same thing. You still sound bitter and b–ching on here and calling me your immature names and names won’t change that. If you don’t like working there find something else. After reading your petty nonsense on here I can only imagine how you act in person.

For 25 years I was focused on my job. Alway a top performer and received excellent performance reviews. I was canned because my “position was eliminated”. To that I say BS. They didn’t want to pay me the salary I earned and deserved. Quite scummy if you ask me. It then that’s our senior management now.

People, it’s all about common sense, they are creating a situation of uncertainty and also proving with few lay-off here and there. So, that people walk away by themselves. Don’t panic, wait until they tap your back.
A lot of smart people can not take such toxic environment and go away or challenge the management, however, some can not due to their personal situation. Just relax, I know it’s hard but relax.

I was a manager with increased staffing issues after years of layoffs. I quit last year. Upper management could not have cared less. But a BE targeted for layoff got the job and seems happy enough. That could be a realist that had been looking and knew there was not much out there for an older manager. Everyone has their own take on the situation. Good luck to you all.

“Focus on your work”. Ha. Spoken like a true Lackey for upper management. Newsflash. If this dump treated employees like they should With decency and respect, that is what we would all be focused on… Doing our job & being appropriately compensated for the job done. Instead, the atmosphere created by executive management and senior managers Leaves the rest of us focused on whether or not we’re going to be able to pay our bills next month so Todd can pad his bonus.

@swb+13RZEWCF, and I love people who come in here and act like they have a clue as to what they’re talking about. Like I said, focus on your work instead of gossiping and you won’t have anything to worry about. Everyone’s a “great” employee but you’re performance says differently. PS clown, make sense if you’re going to try to sling insults. A “no scrote middle hung”? Lol. You sound like a bitter guy. Mad cause you are a nobody?

lol at people who come in here telling other people what to do, like "focus on your work". why don't you focus on being a no scrote middle rung at a failing bank, ted. you're great at that.

So basically what you’re stating is something everyone knows? Has nothing to do with recent cuts. These are ongoing issues . We’re being asked to do more with less people until we can’t or until someone removes their head from their a– up top. I’m a mgr so that’s what’s being “whispered” behind close doors. Stop gossiping and focus on your work

They were already struggling before the most recent layoffs. This organization is run by muppets.

Ohhhhhh well!!! Too bad so sad. Dust off that resume and move along. Let it all be someone else’s problem to deal with. It’s not worth it!
