Amazon has asked employees to stay home through the end of the month in Seattle area to protect them from the spread of coronavirus. Sam's will probably double the points you get and fire you if you stay home to take care of your family after your children's school is closed to stem the spread.
That's just who you work for.
There are no Sam's Clubs in the state of Washington, so your point is moot.
Your statement about OSHA requirements only vaguely apply here. If you would like to utilize the PPE equipment in clubs and stores just let your management team know. Otherwise get back to work or find a work-from-home-job!!!

Why should the club pay for your protective gear? They did not create this virus! If you want it and feel it is necessary then purchase it yourself. Better yet educate yourself on proper hygiene. WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!
Retail workers are exposed to so much. Probably third to those who work in hospitals and schools. Build your immunity & stop expecting handouts! Work hard for what you want!
Next you are going to expect a paycheck if you get sick because it is not your fault! Did you take out short/long term disability? Do you have a savings account ready to go? Have you spoken with your financial institution about the what ifs?!

so, there’s a thing call loa. If you are sick with the virus, your doctor will be ask to sign a letter stating that you are not able to work. While on leave, no point will be accumulated. And if you did have the virus, I’m sure the building will be shut down to be disinfected and everyone that has come in contact with u be put in quarantine.
