I would say the opposite and they will invest heavily in new personnel and equipment in an effort to galvanise their position in the market as many smaller weaker companies will undoubtedly downsize or even close the doors all together when the s@@t hits the fan.
If you are worried about your job it will be because you already know you are deemed surplus to requirements and they only get rid of the dead weight clearly dragging this fine company down and the cream always rises to the top and to do that the weaker have to be sacrificed
Now carry on with your menial tasks and try and not put a dampner on our day
I think they will start cutting this month. Honestly. This slump will take a year to clear.
