Woodlands PTP Contractors

Why many contractors are not showing up to work in PTP team in Woodlands? What is the deal they have with the top management?

After reading this, I realize I am not an "experienced" contractor. Who are these people? Wait has anyone truly worked with any of this individuals. I know my contract will come to end soon so why expose them like it states in the corporate guidelines to the Ethics Hotline;

"Employees wishing to raise concerns without identifying themselves may do so by telephoning 1-800-963-9966 or 1-972-444-1990, or by writing the Global Security Manager, Exxon Mobil Corporation, P. O. Box 142106, Irving, Texas 75014, U.S.A."

Just because we are not employees does not mean we can not report it. It is not fair that we work just as hard as employees and sometimes harder yet and we suffer from the bad decisions of employees.

If you’re an “experienced” contractor you’re safe. If not you will be out

Experienced Contractors means - They know where to pay the Kickback, they know how to promote their own consulting companies by bringing in their own contractors thru their company ( The contractors that are hired thru this company simply come to work, put the headphone on listening to the Indian Music and pretend that they are busy), Experienced contractors come to work only when the manager organizes the Lunch, never update the TFS board but they are VERY BUSY even the Scrum Master, PO, RTE or know one in the organization will question them what they do, because they are busy in paying the KICKBACKS.

Our Vendor had sent an email to work for 12 to 15 hours daily to be productive and not to be panic, though XON has decided to cut down or to put a hold on various projects until May 2021. Major decisions will be announced in the next few weeks....... ( 60% contractors will be shelved for sure in US)

My friend in Spring was let go on Friday evening. His vendor ( Pan...) called around 3 PM, when he was at home (80% he was remote in the last 12 Years as an ABAP support) and shared the news that he has to logoff immediately from the system and shouldn't log in again. He has to handover the laptop to his Vendor on Monday. Looks like many IT projects will be pulled off or moved to Brazil

The Indian Managers love Indian workers, it is a "class" system. Never ever speak back to higher ups. Never ever tell the truth in either direction. It is a great system. The "dear leader" delivers mandates from heaven and cusses out employees when it doesn't happen in 72 hours or less. Excellent agile project management style.

Few to many Long term proud Indian consultants have their own company and they have supplied rotten contractors across XON. remember $$$$$ can make the total difference.......

Many contractors that are working for more than decade and know nothing and never share any knowledge to the employees like me. We are wondering how they were hired in the first place and how they were able to survive for so many years. But now we see that heavy kickbacks were paid to our supervisors. so annoying!!!!

The new PTP Supervisor is very strict ONLY for few of the contractors now we understand why so. We also extend our kickback, so we elevate as "Special" category like other esteemed contractors that show up every 6 months or 9 months & do our second business remotely.

Also, there are few seasoned contractors just roaming around in that floor have no knowledge about PMI, SCM,WM or AP or ABAP. Whether we have a different rate for that category of people (interestingly all from India we think they speak Hindi or Telugu in the floor)?

10$ to 14 % payback from your paycheck to the supervisors - then no one will question you and same happening in 9th & 11th floor too
