So they are having a coronavirus stand down with Lance and Beth today to tell us exactly what the company is going to do about this virus and how we are supposed to act. If I was a betting man I’d wager they are going to say that it’s all under control and there is no need to worry continue working your a$$e$ off and if you do catch it you’ll be fine just come into work anyways.

So the OHNs in the field are now all of as sudden “mission critical” and can’t work from home but the OHNs in Omaha get to work from home... they send out an email to all HR and LR stating we can work from home ...then 30 minutes later say oh ya not the field OHNs .....meantime we sit here answering phone calls, filtering phone calls and doing work that an totally be done at home.... UP has no respect for the OHNs here - that was proven with our levels our pay, and our non existent raises. They could of at least asked for volunteers or asked if any of us had pre existing health conditions that felt more comfortable working from home! I am grateful for my job but this is ridiculous we are putting ourselves, our families and the employees who need to keep the trains moving at risk .....I am sure their next move will be to work us until we get sick or Covid is over and then fire us all as we won’t be “mission critical “ anymore ... to recover all the stock market loses.....
