All board members are in the directory.
You can't be a board member and an employee at the same time, except for the CEO.
Amy is no longer is the directory... what a surprise!
Adios, won't be missed
she was pretty good on The Beat. Rah Rah smile, smile,...
Don’t you worry about Amy... They put her on the board simply because she once worked at Google (and I’m sure there was a diversity angle). Then, somehow without any public/shareholder scrutiny, Cisco buys her little startup “Acompany”. Then they put her in charge of all collab.
She got paid, then paid, then paid by Cisco.
Probably so
Cisco Collaboration has been a mess since the ambivalence about on-prem UC vs Webex, then holding on to an appliance sale model with Tandberg while the industry went software, and now finally the Broadsoft stuff resulting in... how many disjointed platforms? Got to market strategy: big spaghetti plate -> wall splash -> whatever sticks eventually.
She seems a bit too talented and ethical for the executive leadership team. Cisco prefers executives to be used car salesmen without absolutely no morals.
Maybe she was not happy about the LR and decided to take a leave to think about her future. She seems like a good egg and definitely innovative.
