Some departments are not working even though they are full time, but my department is! I got my schedule and I was told I had to come in, that I had no choice!

I also never got an email. I was only verbally told that I needed to come into work tomorrow.
So who did this email go to? I checked, didn't get one about that.
If full time yes cause you have to report to work on monday or get written up. Great company. God give back what SR take away and he take back.
They sent out an email saying that out of the 64hrs full timers will get paid 32, and the other 32 must be worked throughout the closing period. Also they can come in for full 40 if the department really really really requires it, they would like for FT people to clean. Let’s see how many managers and supervisors will actually show up and help with the cleaning. If someone gets sick during these “small groups” of workers please sue!

Salaried would continue to get paid as normal. They will not have anything cut although the execs should if they ever wanted to prove they cared.
Anyways, a lot of salary will likely work from home as in the case of corporate.
Do we know if salaried is also getting pay cuts because of this? Can any salaried report whether or not their pay is being affected also?

I wont know until today. Not every department will be off. Some departments will still be required to report and I will learn today if mine is one of those or if it will be a "hey if you want to come into work we have projects for you to do to get your full 40"
For me if we are not required I will just be taking the time off. Sure there is the drawback of not accruing PTO during these 2 weeks and being only at 32 hours each week but I can survive the light week of pay twice. It pretty much will restore the time off I lost and give me a chance to so some stuff I really need to do.
Very interesting. That's what was communicated at first but now they're making hourly (not sure what departments) come to work at my park. Seaport doesn't show that at all for me.
Not OP, but all of my shifts have been removed. We aren’t reporting to work. FT get paid for 32 hours as I understand it and you can use 8 hours of PTO, if you have it, to bring it up to 40.
From the post on Seaport:
Starting on Monday, 3/16/20, all regularly scheduled hourly shifts will be removed from our operating schedules, and hourly Ambassadors should not report to work unless otherwise communicated by your leadership.
To the first comment, are you working those 32 hours or are you off and receiving 32 hours of pay?
Per seaport.. if you are full time you will get 32 hours of pay for the weeks we are closed up till the 1st. After that we dont know. My own boss indicated that pay may not extend past 4-1 if we are closed beyond that.
If you are part time sadly you do not get paid and you will have to try to do the unemployment or whatever else occurs
