TI was full of sh– and had no idea what the numbers were. There is only a few groups that have access to that information.

Word is out that the layoffs are postponed until the pandemic pass. Should be quiet for a few months.

Axman called him out on his inaccuracy but he still persists in his inaccurate number. He is 5-6,000 too low, but whatever.

Axman should know, as that is Axman’s job and why he is always flying around the world. To advise local executives and help oversee their axing processes. Axman’s job is more important than ever now.

TI,

While your intent to share/report layoff statistics is appreciated - I'm sorry to inform you, but your numbers are as bogus as the Coronavirus numbers that media is reporting.

There have been numerous sizeable layoffs which you have never captured the numbers for (including one where I was RIF'd, along with many others in my org).

You shouldn't continue to mislead others by reporting false data.
