Is anyone using the fantastic Watson platform to research the Coronavirus?

The entire analytics community has let the world down in a big way. There has been zero in terms of BIg Data predictive analytics to help leaders make better decisions on mitigation efforts.
Yes and last year they cured cancer too!
Its all over linkedin. Numerous posts from IBM and the pink hats about how IBM supercomputers are helping the world during the virus. Nothing like someone taking a health catastrophe and trying to promote themselves with it.
@5qla ... and if they produce significant results, power to them. They will deserve the credit!
They will certainly take credit for it.
Not sure that is AI even by today's loose definition .. it looks like traditional computational stuff, just done on a very large (parallel) computer.
Nevertheless, the hardware is impressive.
Actually, they seem to be doing something: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/19/us/fastest-supercomputer-coronavirus-scn-trnd/index.html
Not with Watson, there's a newer AI that didn't have time to disappoint people yet.
Watson and Ginni, wake-up! Now is the time to seized what the world hopes in a once in a life time opportunity. The Coronavirus Pandemic is an existential threat to humanity! The stakes just don't get any bigger. Every processor core, every bit of compute power Watson can throw at the problem should be dedicated to the task at hand. If Watson could provide some unique insight into how to defeat, prevent or slow the onset of COVID-19 it would be a game changer in many ways. In addition to saving the world (which some would say is an admirable goal in itself) it would save IBM's reputation! If you commit the necessary resources now to this problem and are successful, you will never ever have to send Watson out to play Jeopardy again or play any other games. You would never ever have to spend another dime on marketing or cute but misleading commercials. Fire Watson up now, at whatever the cost and the WORLD will beat a path to your door.
Then Ginni, you can laugh all way to the bank with you head held high, knowing that you proved all of your critics wrong.
Q: Watson, please tell us which U.S. city will have the next big outbreak?
A: Toronto.
If they do anything beyond marketing for corona that can end up in a lawsuit like how they got sued by Anderson and Sloan Kettering.

IBM Research already devised a Watson Coronavirus algorithm and the answer was 42.
Watson...... I'm gonna guess in the Library with a candlestick. Do I win? (board game Clue)
This was always a dream project inside of IBM that could never get out the door. :(
Watson’s not in right now, please stay on the line to speak with a representative in India....
