Bringing in new people to shadow existing employees. Then the employees are being displaced after proper training. Yes, it’s true I am being forced to do it.

Yes totally true and these new people come with such an attitude and arrogance, what they don't know is what goes around will come around, they will be soon in the old shoes!!
This pattern is everywhere: “the remaining employees have to clean up their messes and fix their errors every day.” Clean up the mess or it’s your butt on the line. Appearances are paramount.
I had to train people from India for 6 weeks. Work then moved to India and then 3/4 of our dept was let go. It made me physically sick to go to work each day. People from India didn’t seem to care at all. Now, the remaining employees have to clean up their messes and fix their errors every day. The people I trained were terrified of their bosses. Found out they were being paid 10 percent of what I make. I guess you get what you pay for! BNY Mellon is going to learn this the hard way! I’m older and sick so just waiting to be laid off! No sympathy for management. My last manager pleaded no contest to force ranking me B E, which led me to my layoff. My last manager wanted me out and got the wish. What goes around, comes around.......
I am not sorry for such managers. Each person has chose. You have to choose your self between sole compromise, bad karma , saving your work position , implement unmoral things and fighting, telling truth openly and support your workers.
Trust nobody and just update your resume and proudly saying you are leaving!
These fake managers give you fake hopes to make you work hard, if they are making you work harder asking you give KT, this RED FLAG! You will be next. There are tons of better companies out there WAKE UP PEOPLE!

That sounds horrible. I'm sorry that you're the one responsible for implementing these executives' soulless, demonic policies. It probably keeps you up at night wondering about the meaning of life and how exactly you're contributing to the suffering of the world. But don't worry, I think we all understand. "I was just doing my job" was a common defense I heard from... somewhere.
