The article reports, "These workers will be trained and empowered to develop broader retail skills. " lol, means the new workers will be cross trained.

Out-competing Amazon is not a good strategy. It makes us the catch-up guys. Why can't Sam's Club just give good value, products, customer service, and clean stores?

If you can't beat them, outshine them. Walmart can't beat Amazon. Everyone knows it. Walmart's the trashy store, the store where you have to bring your gun to make sure your safe.

I dont know why the long term associates are being blamed for others not getting raises. After 20 years there are associates who have been here for only a couple years who make more than I do.
