Big cuts coming!

Love the comment about riding the sinking ship to the bottom. 100% how I feel. I’m riding out the storm. If I make it through the next year or however long this sh** show lasts then great. If not I will move on.

Adrian is just like the boy that cries wolf. Don’t listen to him! He’s only been mauled by the wolf 5 times since PSR took over.

Adrian please do your UTMOST to keep your mouth shut. We under-educated union peons will attempt to reserve our vocabulary lessons for those employees of UPMOST importance from now on.

Adrian too high on the team pole? LOL. that’s rich. he is an NS worker he is i guess conway or something. she references it all the time in posting. i thought conway was reducing capacity and trains are rerouted to enola yard and shop. who knows anymore?

agree this Adrian character doesn’t even work for NS. the character named Adrian has posted several false claims during the PSR implementation. him and others like him “union officer “ like to stir up hate and feed off the misery of others. PSR has changed the labor landscape permanently and is not slowing anytime soon. it’s time to dispel and dispense with the hate and blood lust for job loss and shop closures they are on the way and no need for any special insight one might think they have. the PSR rule book was published years ago and we all will be affected by it.

Don’t worry about me. I am too high up on the totem pole to be touched. Plus I have friends in the upper echelons of our beloved company, so I will be just fine but thank you for your concern my avid followers. It is my privilege to bestow unto you all the valued information that gets sent my way from all the big brass whom you are not worthy to ever see or even talk to unlike myself. There will be more meetings in the coming weeks about some of your locations no doubt. I will do my upmost to keep you informed. In the meantime give your life to NS and if needed give your life for NS for we will never serve a greater master than that of NS. Conway is KING!

Your IQ is showing!!! Everyone in this thread is LRAp. On top of showing how uneducated you are, you then go on to bring up the Union??? Lmao good luck with that!!! Good thing the Union leads the blind sheep to slaughter. Hit me up when you’re furloughed, I’ll see if the Union will help you out.

my hope for LRAp is for the union to cull you out. you give us union card holders a bad name. your a parasite to the craft. oh and i hope the RR paper tears you a new a$$! now that is worth the 8 hr of pay.

Well it's no big surprise. They want to get that operating ratio to .60 by 01/01/21 and as it stands right now it is at .64. So a change must be made. First and foremost any type of maintenance that can be sub contracted out, will be. They are in the process of eliminating conductors and are going to single man crews. Car inspectors are going to be "utility carmen" and are going to do conductors work. They have also put on distributive power on almost all the trains eliminating helpers on the rear. After reading this and seeing how they're running it I'd say no one is safe. All jobs are going to be evaluated and determined if they may be cut.

Yes you are correct you company smut, but your contract also states to perform a task. My task involve going into work, getting my ppe on, hanging my blue flag, and seeing how many dumps I can take and get paid for it in an 8 hour shift. You keep up the good work soldier. Kudos

actually you do owe them. we are under a labor agreement to provide 40hrs of work a week. now as to the quality of said work is open to interpretation. if you want out of said agreement then quit or stop paying dues.

They don’t owe me anything and I sure in the heck don’t owe them anything. I’m riding this sinking ship to the bottom!! The CEO and executives can dive down and try to salvage the pieces.

if self preservation and supporting family is acting high and mighty then guilty i am. loss of a job is not ideal but at least i’m not like most at NS with low integrity and always a victim. i for one will move on if needed. in the end you need to decide what’s more important to you. supporting family or this notion you are a victim and the world (NS) owes you something.

Please for the love of god, learn the difference between YOUR and YOU’RE. Typical uneducated employees. You say “we don’t need you anyway” like you’re a part of the company. There is no we. You are a number, a slave to the company. You walk in, do a few hours of work, and go home. The company doesn’t notice and doesn’t care about you. Get that through your head. You’re a nobody. You’re a piece of paper that at the end of the day, to lower costs, they’ll crumple you up and throw you in the trash can just like everyone else. How’s that job security working out for ya knowing tomorrow might be your last? 😂
