Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

“It’s your time” but we’re taking it way!

Have any salaried 4 wall execs check out MTO lately? Say goodbye to that extra week of vacation that you were given for working practically 7 days a week for two months over the holidays.

I know they announced that “6 day weeks” would be cut to two occurrences during the holiday kick off meeting, but any dedicated people leader knows this is not practical during holiday and or your store manager said screw that and scheduled you for 6 anyways.

What a bunch of BULL***T!

Especially due to the fact that PTO never is aloud to vary over and we don’t even get a percentage pay out for unused days!

Hey last poster...the OP is correct. While you may see IYT in the 2020 year, you cannot actually use it. Give it a try. Just for fun.
Not available.
But, to be clear, IYT is not for last years extra hours. It’s for all the work you do throughout the year. So, if you are let go in the next few weeks, there will be no IYT to take.

I just found my 5 days of IYT. Go to Feb or March and change the year to 2020, might have to do it more than once. The days are there. So the OP needs to get a LIFE and quit stirring up sh&t and upsetting people FOR NO REASON!

And the IYT today have NOTHING to so with you working 6 day weeks during the holidays. Or for working holidays. Policy states IYT is "in appreciation for hard work all year long". Policy is different by state on how many you are awarded based on date in executive job. So all that blather about being compensatory is wrong.

We (execs in our building) always take IYT first unless it's not loaded yet for something in early Feb. Not an issue. Even with no coverage you take your time off. It's yours.

Calm down. We haven’t lost IYT. It is ALWAYS loaded late. Watch for it next week or even the week after.

I believe you will still be getting your expected days, I know 2020 PTO can be seen already but I am sure the IYT hours will show up next week as well. The most current policy shows that five days will be earned...two for the 6 day work weeks (I know more were worked by some) plus one each for Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and New Years week where five days were worked on a holiday week.
