Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Cloud Renewals Lay-off

Well when you’ve had 3 VPs in 9 months that can’t seem to get past the “we didn’t have to do this at salesforce” you know the wrong people were hired to bring about positive changes. These cuts should’ve come from the top not the worker bees. Why do we need Multiple layers of VPs, Directors and
managers overseeing the business when the reps are the only ones that will actually pick up a phone and talk with a customer? Would love to see these folks on the streets feeling the same pain as those they shut the door on!

They create all these layers to have a scape-goat.

It gives them a place to hide and lots of other people to point fingers at.

If SC is really interested in scaling back the company, she will hit the management. Lots of real money to be saved there. If the management is not heavily hit, then it's business as usual, and Oracle will continue to decline under the weight of supporting the royalty at the top.

All failed tech company layoffs hit the workers before the bloated levels of management. Look at DEC which was a textbook example. History always repeats.
