Have you noticed how the first few webcast after JohnV became CEO he had Steve B do most of the presenting, but after a few of those Steve stayed in the audience. Steve is a great communicator, so it makes me wonder if JohnV felt threatened by Steve B's likeability and stopped having him present on these things.

It is blatantly obvious that he is absolutely clueless and incompetent of running any company. That is why is was hand picked by the one who shall not be named. He doesn’t have the intelligence to think on his own and thus the need for the extravagantly staffed C-Suite. The only thing he has in abundance is EGO and receiving a decadent salary for it.

Agree with @1msv+13fWX8gD.

It was like JohnV was in a meeting and someone walked in and said "Hey, we've got a webcast running, can you stop in and say a few words?" Like he was totally unprepared for it.

I hated what Ursula did to the company, but give her credit for one thing. Her webcasts were always full of facts and details about what was currently going on and being worked on.

I think the thing many of us find troubling is that JohnnyV doesn’t really say anything of substance. He never answers questions directly and mostly just talks in stream of consciousness. It’s unsettling because he’s only there to do Ichan’s bidding... he doesn’t care about the company, the industry or the employees. He doesn’t even pretend to.

That was the most ineffective webcast I think I've ever seen.

Nothing but "let's all pull together" and "we're one company" and "we're going to develop clean energy that lets developing countries have air conditioning".

Oh, and "I don't want to talk about HP".

Other than "Europe had a bad Q4" there were no facts presented. Instead, the Chief HR person spent half of the webcast talking about "you can wear clothes that fit your job" and "some people will get picked to go to the CEO club" and "we changed our mind about letting you buy a week of vacation" (even though JohnnyV had to make a comment about "no one does it").

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

THIS IS WHAT PASSES FOR A WEBCAST THESE DAYS???

Where are the actual plans for increasing revenue? Where are the actual plans for driving growth?

WHERE ARE THE PLANS FOR STOPPING THE **** LAYOFFS???

With every webcast he does it becomes more and more apparent that he (and by extension, the EC team and Board of Directors) are basically treating us all like mushrooms. Keeping us in the dark and feeding us ****.

There are no plans for growth. There are no plans for increasing revenue.

There are only plans to sell out and make Papa Icahn richer so he can go do this to his next victim.
