Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Where did you take your wireless service?

For those that have left the company, where did you take your wireless service? Has anyone found a notable deal on data?

Went to Verizon Wireless. Buy one get one free iPhone 11, unlimited data, actually the best network, and it only costs me $20 more than my employee-discount T monthly bill was.

ting.com, about $30/mo then Mint mobile. About $25/mo

Cheap Comcast internet rate $29 for 24 months, then Metronet fibre for internet. $60

Free GoogleVoice over IP for my "landline" home-wired/cordless phones

I hung onto UVerse TV until I got the big bandwidth Metronet. Then transitioned to youtube.TV, $49. No regrets on any count.

Went with T-Mobile for $11 month on 2 lines, includes 6GB data, unlimited calling+texting and free international calling to 80+ countries. They had a promo last month buy 3 months, get 3 months free. The speed has been 3-4 + times faster and more consistent than T at a fraction of the cost even with an employee discount.

Stayed with AT&T. Have the family share plan, unlimited Text messaging, unlimited calling, and 6Gb data plan with rollover minutes. Monthly cost discounted with retiree concessions. Average about $36.00 per month per line.

T-Mobile ! Magenta 55+ $70 , iPad $20 unlimited , Apple Watch $10 - taxes and fees included $100. We own our iPhone 11 Pro’s. TMo gets full signal at my house. AT&T 1 bar of LTE , what a joke. Coverage is the same and better in places #uncarrier

Why wait until you leave? I changed 10 years ago to T-Mobile and got better pricing, customer care and my service in Seattle is great. At&T pricing and customer service is horrible ...discount is too small to make it competitive with other provider retail pricing

Consumer Cellular - still rides the AT&T network in my location in GA, but for just my wife and I the price is right. Unlimited text and talk, shared 10gb of data (plenty for the two of us) about $63 a month
