Thread regarding IBM layoffs

Krishna

Krishna just had his last all hands call... his charts were mostly showing red... good luck with that guy.

The way you have to look at it is that a departing CEO has no reason to (help) pick a new CEO that would be better than him/her... Palmisano picked Ginni so she can be blamed for not making the $20 EPS. Ginni picks Krishna because she know he will fail and she can say: "Before leaving I engineered the Red Hat acquisition which would put IBM back on track to be a leader in the Cloud, yet Krishna f—ed it up... not my fault!".

We are doomed people... time to update our resumes and move on. There are only two Cloud leaders, AWS and Microsoft.

Well, he ran GTS when I was there. Me and nearly my entire team were laid off. Every team in my org was hacked to pieces under his "leadership".

He is boring, tone deaf and doesn't seem to care a wit about anything other than making his numbers and making sure his name is out there, as others have said. Should be an interesting time.

I have been in meetings with Krishna. A numbers guy with a math background who doesn't care much for people. This will not be pretty.

Not good for me either.

And we thought it couldn’t get worse than Ginni, she must have picked him. Activist investor needs to oust the board...they just replaced bad with worse
