I’m new to this lay-off knowledge!? ALL is quiet with management but, some peeps in my cubicle said today we will be laid off next week. Is this true?! Anyone? Help!

I've heard about the layoff rumor from multiple people at UHC and Optum which in my experience means that it's more than just a rumor.
I was laid off in October after 15 years of service. Layoffs (RIF) are coming on 02-06-20. I have confirmed this for many employees still there. Right before RRP. If you are laid off you’ll get paid two additional weeks, 40 hours of PTO, Plus a lump sum severance based on your years of service and grade level. Apply for unemployment immediately if you’re laid off. Good luck to all of you!
Who really cares anymore! we have the power to really mess their claims processing up. Sick n tired of this company’s mind games while supervisors and management sit back and laugh at US enjoying the stress they give ALL OF US! We hold the real power nobody cares about numbers since you have joyfully taken all incentives away from us you people are shameful
