When Are Telecommuters Going Back Into Office?

Just read this on a post from someone. Does anyone know when this is going to happen? How about an HONEST response from a manager troll and you can be anonymous!

@6glp+13gRyrLT: The 9700, 9800 and 9900 buildings in MN are pretty much at capacity. There's been a lot of shuffling around the last year or so as they've been moving teams from these buildings to other buildings in the metro area. Several teams I know have been moved over to the whitewater building.

So why don't you go to one of those employers offering you "more money and less stress" and quit crying. Meanwhile the people "running the company into the ground" raised the stock price close to 300.

Due to the limited office and desk space, they look at the badge swipe report to see how often employees are badging into the office each week. As part of a department maintaining a desk for an employee (there is a charge back to the dept for this), an employee is expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 or 4 days a week to "pay" for the desk space. Those employees who swipe in less than that are put on "the badge report" and then a conversation is had with upper levels if the dept actually needs the desk space or if an employee needs to be in the office more often to justify keeping the desk space within that department. Desk space is very territorial because it's in high demand.

Overall it's considerably cheaper for UHC to have employees telecommute even with the costs of providing computer equipment and company paid broadband service.

The impression I get is that some offices are essentially sitting empty because departments found an easy cost saving to send workers home. Departments are charged for each “seat” they use in the office so everyone has been looking to avoid that chargeback....

He didn't say he was making telecommuters come back into the office. He clarified twice during the town hall that no one was getting forced back into the office. He said that going forward they will look at whether telecommuting is feasible or offered for jobs and real estate.

If this were to happen it would be impossible for our office. There is literally no where for anyone to sit.

Not surprised when you have a bunch of uneducated aholes running the place right into the ground. I feel sorry for these b–tards they actually believe that we care 😂. Many great employers out there just waiting for US working bees to wake up and say -|-🏻UHC and move on to LESS STRESS AND MORE 💰
