Where are you getting these lay-off numbers?
Everyone in our group was age 40 and over. Total ageism. This is not the fidelity of years ago.
Hundreds are getting laid off within the past week and still happening. Not only 50 and over either. PI/FI/WI very sad
Also, the vast majority of employees do not get shares. Typically a couple from a team and manager's on up.
Shares moving up doesn’t require staying at Fidelity. Apparently some people are unaware that many managers and associates have been RIFed, shares or not.
I stayed and with shares rocketing upward couldn’t be happier.
I left the company almost 2 years ago and couldn't be happier. I could be wrong but the no fee environment and other firms buying each other up look to spell disaster. Get out people!
“Shocking...absolutely shocking!”

Fidelity choking/drowning on migrating to Cloud and Agile.
Ageism is rampant.
Headhunters raiding talent.
Fidelity no- fee trading showing its tolls on company.
Run and don’t look back!
