Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Longer Days No Additional Pay

Anyone else notice they are expected to accept meetings at 7:00 am and 9-10pm with no other compensation on a regular basis? I don’t mind the one of request but at this point it is expected of me 4 x a week.

Get used to it, especially if you are FLSA exempt. My former co worker had meetings at 6 AM and as late as 10 PM plus worked every weekend. Plus, the co worker is kissing the bosses azz in a survival effort

Early meetings aren't as bad as wasting entire weekends on the disaster recovery shyt shows. I wasn't compensated for my time or travel.
