The board should share some blame for this too, as they should have got rid of her years ago. The fact they let this go on year after year without even putting her on a PIP and assigning her a mentor is shocking ;-)
I think that is discourteous to band 6 employees. Band 6 contains some diamonds in the rough.
Market capital down 50% during that period. Makes you wonder what would have happened if we had instead replaced Sam with a band 6 IBM employee picked at random.
