What meeting with CEO?who else got it?
Monday morning and now we get a 11am meeting from the CEO. We have never gotten a 2 hr meeting notice with no agenda from the CEO.

I feel bad for anyone in this circular firing squad. Leadership begins at the top and this CEO has Macy's running around like a spastic Roomba, kicking up old dust and bumping into walls while spreading itself inefficiently and ineffectively all across the retail (and discount) space...as if it were all out of some self-destructive obligation. Can you imagine more laser-focused leadership creatively defining the Macy's brand for a new generation through a bricks-and-mortar metamorphosis with stores re-imagined and re-designed to be iconic destinations of service, style and social buzz? I can and I'm just a business reporter with no real vested interest in Macy's success except that I would love to spend time and money in a place I just described. Instead, however, this Captain (Queeg) Of Industry has his splattered and scattered attention on photo ops, self-promotion and agenda-driven pet projects while a national treasure (the Macy's brand and history) gets marked down another 30%. That's on top of your Friends & Family discount and your Macy's Money ready to redeem. That's right, doing business like that eventually makes it all worthless.
