Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Severance info?

Is anybody willing to share what their severance package looks like? I'm scared they might hit us with an unexpected change at the worst possible moment, so it'd be nice to know that something like did not happen.

@yrv+13nAeijS - Highest profits and earnings for the company. Don't forget to include all the federal tax cuts they've been getting since the tax law changed a couple years ago. Where's all the money going?

One week of pay for each year of service is a joke, we make this company billions in profit each year.

@vqh I know, I'm just worried that they might change that on the day of layoffs. Call me paranoid, but I can't help but worry.

Severance info is on the hub. Just look up up "severance" and it should be the first result.

I only have severance info from the October layoff. I was a level 27 with a little over 5 years and got 6 weeks. You only get paid out for full years of service so no half years, etc. Your weeks of severance is calculated using your base pay divided by 52. You also only get paid out for 40 hours of PTO. Anything over 40 hours isn't paid out to you and is gone.
