My team has gone through so many changes and everyone has been extremely anxious about the next layoff. Upper management, (better said executive leaders) are not transparent. Supervisors and managers do not get a piece of the action, they usually get information after the fact or as it is happening. Pretty much the middle man to clean up after leadership figures out the direction given was probably not the best. There is zero communication in regards to what matters to the employee. The only focus Is “end of month sales” while pushing us for more production, all so that upper management can collect their big payouts. It’s so exhausting. It’s so hard to leave the team I lead behind so I keep at it. I heard and I just hope this is just a rumor. The big lay-off everyone is talking about might be happening tomorrow. Whatever happens, let it be for the best.

Ouch, start early and cash in those Bravos and access what you need on the HUB/email before they might shut you out.

My MAP review is scheduled for next week
You could be going over your MAP/Common Review.
You are probably being laid off. Same scenario happened to me in Q19. I hope I’m wrong.
Usually it is a much higher up person who calls you .... does not set up a 1:1 meeting on your calendar. Often your direct Supervisor is not even aware who on their team is being laid off. Remember, this is also the time the Supervisors are setting up meetings for yearly MAP reviews too.
Only myself not a team meeting
Yes. Is the meeting by yourself or the rest of your team?
Just received a meeting from my boss for tomorrow morning, could this be it?
=(
You are correct. It’s happening tomorrow morning.
