Verizon re-badged IT workers to Infosys in 2018/2019. What, if anything, is stopping Verizon from re-badging Wireless call center workers so that AFNI or Alorica take over? That would be the most effective strategy.

All of them. Verizon is transferring work to vendors and to the Philippines and closing corporate US centers. It's already in process. Hilliard BGCO is closing. New vendors are being trained. This is 2.0 which means cut costs by getting rid of the loyal highly skilled reps and replacing them with poorly paid, poorly trained, and high turnover vendors.

"This is to advise you that, due to reductions, restaffing or reorganization of the workforce in your organization, your position has been impacted," the letter said. "If you do not secure another position prior to the end of your notification period, your last day on Verizon payroll will be 4/6/2020."

Well since Hilliard BGCO and CORe got hit, I would guess that no center is truly safe, I would recommend checking your local area property sale listings to get a better idea if vzw owns the building that you work in. (That's how I knew this was coming to Hilliard) My only surprise is about how bad the BGCO team got pounded
