We had 17M vehicles sales last year and we got to enjoy SRD. It's pretty clear the c-suite is grasping at straws. There are still a few experienced people left. I wouldn't be shocked at SRD redux.
Not sure of this source but I have seen several reports suggesting slightly less the 17m in auto sales this year. This suggests to me that layoffs are not in the picture this year barring any unforeseen major world catastrophe. I don't think the coronal virus will reach that level.
