@5qxm+13r91uJ2 that article was written 18 months ago for a project not due to finish til 2021. And Vz will use 16 floors? I find this hard to believe since they abandoned the High Street offices and moved people out to Lowell and Quincy, all for cost savings.

Stores do not drive strategic decisions on office real estate. It covers the entire US footprint. People running it can be 100s of miles away.

Relocating with this company isn’t smart. They will cut you as soon as possible and leave you in nowhere town

The Las Colinas project has been on the books for 8 years, more actually. It changes in scope about every 2 years. It would seem logical to move to Texas but only on the surface, property taxes in the Las Colinas area are north of 2% per year. Yes, everything does look cheaper here, until you read the fine print. Serious sticker shock.

Northeast has issues.

10 stores will close this year in NNE market.

They will not back fill the missing district manager as they’re going to consolidate.

Expect hour changes soon.

Please note that in the same article, it points out how VZ Realty has already leased out 1 million square feet in that same vicinity to another company. No guarantees that any of this is for VZ employees.

Sadly the ones who make the most bank get the most lavish relo package. But then again they are brilliant and critical 🤮

We who do the necessary work will get a greyhound bus ticket

Imagine how many VPs and SVPs they could get rid of just by not offering a relo package!
