I know a few people that were just waiting to get the bonus paid and next week they will be giving their notice.
@1qus+13tSj1uC - You don't need to go back to work immediately. It's ok to accept a job offer and take some time off before you start your new job. Lots of people I know do that and I've done it every time I've started a new job.
I have offers but I really don’t want to go back to work. I feel badly burned & need to get my mental state back together before I go at it again.

I have been laid off in the past at a previous corporate job ... got 6 mos severance HOWEVER, I quit this job on my own. I think that’s clear
@osp+13tSj1uC That’s correct, “I voluntarily left this nightmare.” if you read what I wrote before judging , you’d have noticed that I wrote: “I too have been laid on off ... but quit THIS nightmare voluntarily...”
they wouldnt give you a severance if you voluntarily quit so nice try bud

I was hired under HELLO OPTUM!!!!! The first year was bearable. Then the layoffs started and it was a downward spiral into the depths of hell.
I am happy to say that I no longer dred Mondays and every day feels like Friday!!! Cest les vive'
