Thread regarding CVS layoffs

First week of new hours

So today the schedule came out for three weeks out, and technically it’ll be an “off week” meaning no truck. So I guess the week before is an “on week”. So for my “on week” I have 203 hours, my off week is at 177. How in the heck!?! That’s a huge swing in hours! I’m open 8a-9p and one of the days it said my demand was 18 hours?? So just 5 hours of the day I’ll have 2 people???? What’s everyone else’s hours look like? Mind you that I’m a true demand store doing 30k or more a week. I also am a SMIT store that currently has a SMIT.

Based on your pallet counts you clearly get water on promo and bulk which probably makes up 2 3rds of your "cases". We are not factoring in any seasonal you may get. You dont get to look down on me because you think you are the only manager at cvs who deals with this. Yea it s—s I get it but you are exaggerating.

To the poster who took issue with 12 pallets
What do u mean ? Yes there’s 30 Rx totes
10 boxes of supplies and 30 cases of ad I don’t put out but that still leaves 350 totes full of c-ap and 450 full cases - if you saw my payroll and the trucks I unload you would say omg and be looking for another job

Just becUse you recieved 12 pallets you are not putting out 12 pallets. Theres truth to having a lack of manpower but don't exaggerate

From the pharmacy side. I had my tech hrs cut down from 150 to 100. DL cant explain why. It is stress city to the max. One of my techs had to leave work due to the stress/anxiety its causing. Possible heart attack. The amount of errors have def increased and cant get any doctor calls done. Doctors are sending over rxs with major mistakes and am on hold for 20 mins to call them back for clarifications. This is not healthy for anyone.

So, having had my F/S hrs. reduced from 211 down to 140............it begs the question, that in the "off week, I have 139, versus the "two truck" week, I have 140 hrs.
Does that make any "damn sense", and when I ask my uninformed D.L., and he stated... just "stick" to your scheduled hours.
Probably, has a home mortgage pmt. due, and doesn't know where else to go.

Dude I love it right on mark. I just want are CEO to put his money where his mouth is a buy some of our stock on the open market to show his faith in our company. It seems like he just dumps stock. Never buys any most good CEO’s will purchase stock when it’s supposedly undervalued to show Wall Street they truly believe in there company’s direction example Elon Musk

That’s because are “brilliant Leaders” are throwing S—t at the wall and seeing what sticks. And so far and for a long time it’s nothing. They are pizzing people off at the pharmacy by being jokingly understaffed. The lawyers are sitting on the sidelines licking there chops because the misfills will be coming and let’s pray to god nobody loses there life. But are delirious I’m sorry glorious leaders tout us as at the forefront of healthcare and all about customers health. I say cut the hours to zero put in more self checkouts put pill dispensers in pharmacy like a vending machine. If I didn’t see this for myself I would think it’s a joke. Oh I forgot maybe the shoplifters can do bag checks on each other before they leave the stores that should help lower shrink.

CVS needs to STOP these ridiculous hours cuts! I personally challenge ANY district leader or regional director to run a store on less than 200 hours! And don’t k–l yourselves doing it, don’t work any doubles, don’t work alone, and don’t go over hours! Oh and get a minimum of 3 carepass per shift! What is this company thinking??

Use some of your hours from your on week to pad your off week. 190 hours each week.
