See y'all in May at JLS
RLS to be announced this week of a closure.
Wish all who will be affected best wishes on their next steps.
This is definitely a different kind of railroad, that is going to be run, lean and mean.
Isnt Altoona where they make mallo cups you could get a job at the candy factory
Well I am sorry to report that both ROA and JLS will both be shuttered and or sold off and work sent to Conway. It is sad and unfortunate that so many of you will lose your jobs, but look at it this way, it will give yous guys another chance to find a job yous are actually good at and that yous can do work yous can actually take pride in. Conway is King as the mighty ax begins to swing we will enjoy all the new work that each cut will bring and as all of yous move on to different things. King Farrell bids you farewell and appreciates all the work you have done over the years, even as lack luster and lesser quality as it was it sufficed for the time being. Move along now and make way for the great Conway!!!
nope no need to use capital letters. you get what was said.
Is your education complete? Just a friendly reminder from the unskilled that you should be using capital letters at the beginning of your sentences.
And yet here you are trying to take pot shots at union workers over the internet. Sound like a jealous loser to me.
low quality union work. to be expected from the unskilled. your industry is collapsing under the weight of union hall bureaucrats. best to just shutdown or sell and start this thing right. probably won’t so the weak unskilled will bring this all to a close. funny how we think higher wages equates to quality and production. they could pay you all half of what you earn now and get the same return from a hall worker. and yes i’m not a fan of the union. been off for 15yrs never going back. education and job experience will set you free.
JLS messed up the eco sets so much when they released then to INMAN we had to rewrite everything it was like a colorblind chimp wired them up at JLS nothing worked right
LMAO, that’s a good one!!! As if JLS wasn’t bad enough about quality, GE is worse that JLS if you can believe it hahahaha
LOL, both of your shops s—. Dont worry though. We are gonna give GE all the work and finally get some reliability out of these things.
You can tell a JLS engine by the 12 point 5/8 exhaust bolts where all 16 are blowing out the gaskets and the whole engine is covered in soot, not to mention every other gasket leaking on the locomotive. Real fine work
I’m pretty sure all these broken cranks from JLS overhauls are a figment of our imagination. Keep up the good work.
Im pretty sure roanoke would have to have units to release them but what do i know
We are told daily the mechanical failures from the previous day and none of them are out of RLS. Most are from Juniata.
Ok

News Flash, all of NS is shutting down.
Altoona (JLS) is not shutting down. False info brainiac.
Those 8.5’s were Corbins babies. Nobody and I repeat NOBODY at RLS thought they were a good idea or that they’d even work. They’re junk. But you gotta do what daddy Corbin says.
Lol thats great roanoke is the best shop all those 8.5 they put out hows the ac traction motors going or the D-9 ovehaul reliability dang im trying to come with a good product
Same with south fork?
If the RR had any sense this would be true. Atleast they would have a reliable DC to AC and all other dash 9 overhauls.
