Being on the Forge team always reminds me of the definition of the meaning of the word:
- to illegally copy something in order to deceive someone.
I hope the rest of the businesses within Honeywell wake up to what they’re really dealing with.

Yeah, I don't get Honeywell Forge.
In Aerospace at least, the concept seems good. But the execution is incredibly scatter-shot. It's as if the plan is to walk around to major airlines, puke out a bunch of buzzwords (Big Data! Dashboards! etc), and wait for the money to roll in.
Most of honeywell has no idea what forge actually is let alone if it is useful.
Sell you Honeywell stock before the artificially pumped value of $180 crashes to a point of low recovery!
Don't knock everything about Forge.
Its really a conglomerate of very successful companies prior to being acquired by Honeywell and "assimilated".
Forge's fundamental problem is that Honeywell demands they charge engineering and production for services. And those departments don't have metrics tied to warranty costs or revenue. I have seen at least a dozen great ideas to use Forge shot down because Honeywell's metrics prioritize lower production cost while completely ignoring program profitability. You can see this lack of focus on profitability permeate trade studies and vender contracts as well.
What do you mean? Look at all of the innovation and new products we’ve got!
