I know for a fact that there are a few FAANG companies receiving training for IMS Core and other Wireless/Telco related tech. Not sure what their plan is though...it takes more time/money to build an ISP/TELCO than they can likely afford, so maybe maybe they're gonna buy or partner with one.
I was sent a few emails from an Amazon headhunter for work on AWS.
There are rumors that with the Tmo and Sprint merger going through that Dish has a deep pocketed partner and Amazon was one of the companies mentioned.
Please don't tell me that Verizon also managed to move some HR systems into AWS?
