Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Possible COVID site closures

We in the UK have been asked to make sure we take everything home that we may need (PC, headphones, PSU, docks, etc..)

Are we about to be sent home to work due to COVID site closures? It is a bit annoying that it is now OK to work from home when we have been told not to after the "Cote / Florida Incidence"

Texas site employees required to come into work unless your kids’ schools are closed and you don’t have alternative babysitting options. I don’t have kids, asked my boss if I could work from home because CDC/WHO/any non-lobotomized person recommends social distancing for coronavirus prevention and - shocking ! - I was DENIED. Unbelievable! (but totally believable because it’s Honeywell)

But not at Funnysmells in Arizona where the state is finally able to actually test for the virus.

The Florida sites still are required to come in the office.
