Jersey FSC (IBEW) working from home too
I'm on landline side in Buffalo, but we're represented by IBEW not CWA. All us reps from IBEW (Buffalo, Elmira, Binghamton & Syracuse) are working from home if possible. There's a few people that still have to come in to the call center because they don't have adequate internet. They also changed our hours from 8am-7pm (6 days - closed on Sun only) to new hours 8am-5pm M-F.
On the landline side, are we going to see the likes of Garden City, Hamilton Township, and Silver Spring (with CWA approval) allow for associates to HBA?
Mines?? Say no more.
Here comes HBA followed by outsourcing. Call centers are obsolete. COVID-19 is the final nail in the coffin.

Just got the call today that we’re closed until the end of the month.
Salt Lake and Elgin are closed due to positive coronavirus tests.
I got a call asking about working from home if I would be interested. Supervisor said it’s going to happen “pretty quick”. Fingers are crossed.
