He just did. Between the lines of accelerating the Transformation (layoffs) with a sentence that read “We do not make money at these prices!” But please stay focused and work your asses off at home.
Maybes he's drafting resignation letter and joining msft
Yep, accelerated transformation = layoffs....no furloughs
The email just dropped. Read between the lines. Furloughs and layoffs coming soon. Furloughs to start tomorrow.
He hasn’t said anything yet because the next thing he is going to say is not something that he will enjoy telling employees.
Forget about the employee. Now it has become the DIVIDEND which is Chevron’s most important asset.
His team is writing and re-writing his prepared remarks, and he is practicing them in his bathroom mirror. It takes time to choreograph those hand motions.
Working on transformation and ensuring he gets his big pay checks while most of Chevronids will let go in coming weeks his stock compensation based on today's chevron stock price is too little for his retirement.
Too busy trying to figure out where and how much to cut the budget and headcount in order to save the dividend.
Great question...XOM got in front by detailing their plans to mitigate affects of this downturn. While MW is left holding his d!ck
