Glad I already got my MIP. Better luck next year. I'm sure it will all work out for you.

Remember though, "we're all in this together" the sinking ship, man the lifeboats! Women and children first! Ken and Darius don wigs and a skirt....
MIP already paid out.
In APAC service, no increment for year 2020 confirmed by manager. I just hope that management will not cut my salary. It is my first job after graduation and I have being working for 2 years now. Although i have learned a lot, i am not sure if i can sustain any longer when my peers are earning much more now in the same industry. The only reason that i am still is for my manager who is understanding (no matter how capable he is, he cannot defy the higher management decisions)
Talked to China, things are going back to normal quickly, everyone at the office. Lasted about 6 weeks, no RIF's. Why on earth is HON cost cutting this aggressively in the US?
Ok, fine the stock market is collapsing, all industries are slowing down, bad stuff no doubt. But we are all here on the edge for the virus, possibly having friends and relatives in quarantine or worse, and the leadership asks us to be focused. To help, they come up with the best decision: to cancel merit raises. I am not saying that we won't need to takes painful steps as a company, but to do this now? At this time? How can someone focus in this surreal situation and this atmosphere? What baffles me is the complete disrespect for people, their mental health, their dignity ...
Dairy A*s makes $85,000 per day. This POS can't afford to give me my $8 per day raise. Time to retaliate. Slow down working, take sick days at critical times. This can't go unchallenged. I'm sick of this BS
Confirmed. I would rather furlough, as this goes against pay for performance and results we achieved with merit we earned for 2019 results. Unprecedented times though so everything is upside down.
Yeah, to those who think we shouldn't gripe about losing raises I tend to agree.
I'd agree fully if this didn't happen after Mips/Sips were paid. But this to be expected.
Personally I shrug because in the grand scheme of the pandemic not getting a raise doesn't make my waterline of worries.
Not in India...they got the raise..
Does this affect anyone who recently switched positions, got a promotion, etc? Do you think they’ll be the first ones laid off? Looks like the path we’re going down
LoL. Raises are just the tip of the iceberg. If this upsets anyone then good luck. Expect it to get very worse. Furloughs on the way, lay-offs to follow. When the money stops rolling in we are not a part of the equation anymore. I'm glad I prepared. When you've been constantly threatened with layoffs year after year you learn to be ready.
This is the worst company I ever worked for and I been manufacturing for over 40 years
Stock buybacks are approved.
Source is an email sent out to management around noon.
So, why stay at all now. The value proposition for HON just reversed. Don't need a furlough, as expect hundreds to throw in the towel.....except all those execs ;-)
People who didn’t receive MIPS will be extra screwed.
MIPS were paid out.
MIPs are not getting pulled back directly. The upcoming massive furloughs will repay HON for any MIP you received plus some salary. We need to get this money back into HON coffers to pay the senior ALT their bonuses and pay wall street in the massive sell-a-thon
How about MIPs
Motivation level +10000000000000%
Except leadership of course.
Got to make sure they can make ends meet.
My boss
Also confirmed. Mandatory leader call to make the announcement.

What is the source of this information?
Confirmed.
