Empty the sick bucket

Come on home office. Step up to the plate and pay out all those hours hanging out in the sick time bucket . We all know you only care about your bottom line, but maybe you could use a little good vibe publicity during these trying times. Especially since your associates are the ones holding down the forts.

I really hope someone prepares a class action suit or got in touch with a news organization and explained the BS.....I recently mentioned this to my market manager....and she never even heard about it.....she was shocked at the facts and assured me that the company would never do anything to take something from it employees....and a former market personel mgr simply told me to get over it....its old news....I guess losing 5+ weeks pay isn't a big deal when ya make six figures....

Remember they gave us the 1000 dollar tax deal a couple years ago. God forbid they ever do that again even though they still get the corporate tax break. Shareholders were p-ss-d off when they did that. Never again will they do something to help employees in the future that cuts into the bottom line. Now they're making it harder to get p.t.o. each year after the initial roll out. There are some really bad people running this company.

Can you imagine putting money in a savings account and then all of a sudden the government tells you can only use that money if you’re going to help someone else. Lol that’s how I feel about what sams did to our sick ours.

You can use 80 hours of your PTO bucket to care for a family member once all your ppto AND all your PTO is gone........which rarely if EVER happens. They are really not doing anyone but themselves a favor by keeping those sick hours in that all mighty bucket.

You can only access those sick hours for a leave of absence to take care of a family member. All other PTO and PPTO must be exhausted first and even then it is a case by case basis.

By opening them up for use it would allow those Legacy associates who have up to 240 or whatever (ie: I have 120+) to use them whereas right now we cannot.

Sick hours are allowed to be used once all PTO hours have been spent I thought?
