I'm a contractor, I heard that it was announced no raises but did it mention furloughs? Layoffs? Anyone know if its contractors or employees that generally get the ax first? Next week pink slips?
State of California shut down will be huge.
The CEO will increase his salary.
This will likely be close to the great depression terms of wealth loss.
It will be massive and everyone will be impacted. Maybe some more specialized groups will stay but the entire economy is shutting dow.
If the economy is not working, where does this take Down Jones
