Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Why are we still open??

Its obvious Verizon does NOT care about its employees. Our credo is b—s— because it was written by people who dont have to rush to the frontlines of a disaster. They should be the ones who come and work on the front lines.

Atleast close all stores and rotate 1 that's opened temporarily. Then close that one open another one temporarily. It's not fair that some employees have to expose themselves to the public while others get a paid vacation, safe at home.

If this doesnt change, Union action will be taken. Enough is enough.

@1syl+143C3ey1 haha "essential"! All we do is reset Facebook/email passwords and take bill payments lol. Oh and deal with p-ss-d of baby boomers who demand their pictures transferred or ringtone set up. Pathetic, we are risking our wellbeing for this garbage. Nobody's Facebook or email is that important.

Our governor just declared all non life-sustaining business to close by 8pm tonight with no date to return open and that our local government can imply fines starting Saturday. Wonder if Big Red will comply then.
