Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Hey Verizon! You want to protect your employees!

Set up an on call service. If a first responder needs anything that’s important they can set up a same day appointment with a manager to get the help that is important. They would just call customer care and care would reach out to the manager to set it up. Keep the dumb people out that are going to infect the store. All it takes it one person to infect the whole store, then what??? Oops we will shut down now...

I love the people who say Verizon runs to a crisis. Well they are causing a crisis by encouraging people who should not be out to run to a store for dumb stuff.

The propaganda by Verizon each day is nuts. It is always easy to find an a– kissers to share their story.

Hans we know 24 by 7.. you are a broken record.

Stores do not have the equipment needed nor do the technicians have them that need to go into houses.

Yes Verizon is a public utility. Yes it is important to keep the network up and running. That task does not require to touch a customer.

Yes there is customers who will need help with items.. but many more touch points can be cut and the hours also cut.

As a rep I'm sure many others would love to work from home and take phone calls.

Yes Verizon is taking care of paying employees. We are lucky. However the old school mentally that stores must be open. This is not a major storm or earthquake. The correct way to respond to this even it stay home and encourage others to do the same. Not run to this crisis.

The one liners and the same information that Hans keeps repeating shows ... They don't care. Action not words.

Yes! There are so many ways to assist first responders and emergency situations and all of them are so much better than their current option of keeping most stores open. While not being able to provide any gloves or sanitizing wipes.
