Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

No returns!

We should not be accepting returns under any circumstances until this is over. We don't know where the merchandise has been or who handled it. At the very least merchandise should not go back on shelves.

Would stop hoarders from overbuying, thinking they can return it all and get their money back.

Even Meijer has stopped taking returns. They have stopped bottle returns because of this, what is the difference?

Any idea what day(s) of the week Sam’s Club gets their toilet paper deliveries? Asking for a friend.

It's bad enough that we're fighting bed bugs at the desk, let alone whatever else is being brought in.

Why on earth would anyone bring back paper towels, toilet paper ? You're always going to need that product it will never go bad just keep it people. Even water won't go bad, just bring back the usual junk like clothing, hard line's stuff, even bedding but not rice that will keep also. I would be so embarrassed to bring TP back get real.

Every floor area thing is handled by many members. The products and carts left in the rear of the store are handled by a number of persons and no one is given protective personal equipment to prevent the contact transfer of germs. The front end gets the sanitizer and Lysol but the poor slob that returns or straightens this c-ap gets nothing. No one sanitizes the door and equipment handles/controls. What about those green vests that are borrowed again and again? -ever get told to be on a forklift crew and then have to wear those stinky used garments? Emotional support animals- didn't this deadly virus originate in animals and then transfer to humans? We are doing many things badly, its not just returns.

Costco, the big-box store known for its flexible return policy, is reportedly no longer accepting returns on several in-demand items such as toilet paper, paper towels, sanitizing wipes, water, rice or Lysol.

It is not safe to be handling any returns at this time. I agree NO RETURNS on anything bought during the covid-19 time.
