How is everyone coping with working from home? I heard someone say that their manager told them that this is indefinite. I smell tons of layoffs is about to happen and what about MSP? Will it be another delay because I heard if it is the company stand to lose millions. Any thoughts...

LOL, just as long as this does not effect our Trifacta Migration. Then they can fire everyone except mangers...
Re: scrum coaches. We call them scrum bags.
Well if DeSantis orders a shelter in place for Florida I still have to go to work. We had an email in in our in boxes staying the The Department Of Homeland Security has classified us as essential. Print out these 12 page total attachments and keep them in the car with you bank issued ID badge so you can tell and show the nice police officer you are allowed to be out. Oh boy! Fun fun fun until the corona virus takes me away.
@2dpt+145kGV1y I'm guessing Work From Mobile

What is WFM? Work From...Margaret?
Please do not abuse WFM. Now is the time to prove that WFM works, and should be a part of our core workforce strategy.
when I work from home I sometimes check my email.
@www+145kGV1y the bank is transitioning it’s mortgage platform to a product called MSP, apparently it’s what most of the industry uses, still had lots of issues last time I heard, supposed to launch in May
Not working from home, still going into the office until DeSantis pulls the plug like NY, CA, Il, ect. They are testing to see if they can set us up to work from home. I think I'll be on lock down before it gets set up.
Layoffs will be coming. The layoffs will be because of the business downturn and not the virus. As soon as Washington passes the rescue package with enhanced unemployment benefits, the layoffs will begin. Good luck everyone!
I have MyWork'ed from home for the past 5 years, and get FAR more done than when I was in the office. More productive, more focused, fewer time-consuming interruptions from gossipy colleagues–and even put in more hours. (first online, last offline each day) Very connected–teammates from BOS, NYC and CLT ask me "what's going on?" How can they be IN the office and be so clueless about the business, internal politics and the company? Working from home is not a vacation.
This is the first time I have worked from home (for an extended period) and I love it! I am more productive, and have checked in and connected with my peers more than when we were sitting in our open space.
Not sure about the market bouncing back. We are in for a recession, unfortunately. Stay safe.
There’s always a chance for lay offs and I’m assuming this will drive layoffs. I’m hoping decisions like that will wait 2-3 months because the economy is expected to come back quickly when this is over. I don’t know what MSP is.
