THIS SITE IS FAKE NEWS...I work for Chevron and they are doing a lot for the employees that want to shelter in place to protect them selfs with pay.
Those that can work from home are welcome to do so.
Even the employees on the front lines that are out threre keeping stations open so people can still get the things they need Chevron is calling them hero's of Chevron.

This is beyond Chevron and its intents and actions. Corona is (possibly) the lesser of the two evils Chevron is currently dealing with.
Chevron livelihood, like that of the rest of the O&G companies, is heavily dependent on the amount of oil floating in the market. This of course is controlled by those who have the most reserves of it, and can flood the market with it if they so choose, at anytime! Unfortunately, these are the same entities who use oil as a weapon for their political/financial gains, even if that means destroying the lives of millions.
