Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Things that should be done now

Reduce the number of members in the building at one time.

Close down returns, who knows where that product has been.

Have elderly shopping hours an hour before we open to the general public.

Close down click n pull. We don't have half the products anyways and members get way too close.

Imo, HMS and Bakery should close down as well. No one is buying our Bakery products atm the tables are always full. 48, 37 all the prepackaged vending items are what is selling.

Wow. Bold ideas.

You should quit Sam's Club and start your own retail company.

There is a report out today saying the virus can live on cardboard for 24 hours think about that how much cardboard does an associate handle daily.

@vas+147Ypywf it does not sound like you work for the company so I am not sure why you are here. I do not believe any one is whining they are just stating how they feel every associate across the country is assuming some personal risk to show up everyday right now. We are not sure how great the risk is because we are in the middle of this we may look back 6 months from now and say that wasn't that bad or we may look back and say we were very lucky, and if you do not like what is being said on this board shut up and move on.

No we are not whining, when we have associates that work in optical that are helping out in pharmacy and have members SNEEZING all over the counter that don't even bother to cover their mouth, and there are ZERO face masks for employees to even wear, THAT IS AN ISSUE! We are still working and trying to help out other areas and the company isn't even providing the tools to protect employees from getting sick, THAT is an issue.

If they haven’t done so already they should close tbc, optical, and member returns. All sales should be final during this time. Limit purchases to food and medical only that will keep member count down.
Click and pull, clip pick up is ok. It keeps members from wondering the club.
