Of course we have to cut hours. How else are we going to pay those new 150,000 new hires?
We have 20 or more call offs every single day. Our state is shelter-in-place. No one's shopping anyway. Fine by me.
All of our associates are getting overtime. Part time associates that usually get 14-20 hours are over 40 There is no pass on points. If you are out sick then that will be excused if you call Sedgwick but not just to go home early it’s not something to just take advantage of. If we have enough associates and it gets slow and nothing for them to do we will send them home if they like and if we send them home they will get the point exused
I WISH our club would let us go home early. We only get maybe 1 or 2 call outs a day bc our cm is giving anyone who trys to call out points even though we're supposed to have a pass right now. We struggle to find something to do every night. Even the assistants tell us to try our best to find something to zone. Sunday consisted of 2 lifts driving aimlessly with nothing to really drop. While the rest of us looking for something to zone or clean. Waste of payroll.
I can’t believe they are cutting hours with all the call offs happening everyday! It’s ridiculous.
It's almost April, which is the last day of the fiscal quarter. They know that the huge blowout sales we've been having will eventually yield to an extremely low number of sales at some point as people will be stocked up, sick, or quarantined. They want to cut your paycheck to make the numbers look good for the company bigwigs to make big bonus bank.
Cutting back on hours to still try to stay close to their limit. In the end they're still a crummy company
Our store looks good, we do have lots of holes in the steel but we are all working together. We have a great management team. They are not sending people home early...but if we want to leave they will approve it.
Managers are telling everyone they can go home early if they want to while the store looks like sh–.
