One could only hope they do the right thing.

That extra $500 Billion Government largesse will buy a lot of "Help Wanted" ads in the "Times of India" newspaper...like about 500 Billion ads...

Recant the furlough? We will be lucky if we don't see Honeywell layoffs in the USA.

HON has their hand out, requesting $500 Billion. Regular employees will never see a dime of and it won't stop them from doing furloughs and layoffs. This is a great excuse for uppers to line their pockets and "cut costs" regardless of long term consequences to the company. It's been self imploding for years.

Plus regardless of the stimulus package, I can't see Honeywell "recanting" the furloughs at this point.

Recant the furloughs? Planes are not flying. Boeing/Airbus shutdown. Virus is just getting started. The stimulus is a band-aid. The stimulus will help some people get through April but then what? What about the people in high wage/rent locations? Plenty of people making $100K in CA, NY, WA that live paycheck to paycheck with Rents/mortgages upwards of $4k. What good is a measly $1200?
