Problem good hard working employees are given enough time and resources to execute flawless launch properly. Management wants think faster and cheaper than possible. They talk about it but then push employees over the edge or just make 1-2 guys do it all.
Flawless Launch is pretty much quality increase/risk reduction. It’s painful if your program isn’t doing those things (but they should be doing it). Tell your friend to stop trying to avoid doing things the right way where it counts (six sigma tools during design and using manufacturing/supplier feedback)
Flawless Launch is another idea that could have been great... until the execs turned it am extension of their incomptence, overcomplication, process paralysis, and complete lack of accountability.
Find a new friend and have a flawless lunch is the advice from the internet.
FL, ESE, and OTL are the biggest blunders that this stupid company came up with! Super waste of time and $$$.
