Junior/Middle Managers Should Think About Joining With Agreement Employees

There's talk among agreement employees about going on strike for better conditions. Senior management is relying on junior/middle managers to plug gaps in labor, act as internal "scabs", manage external contractors, and enforce draconian company policies, all while chewing up and spitting out young managers by the dozen in appalling conditions that are sometimes barely legal.

Junior/middle manager working conditions are almost as bad as those for agreement employees, and with fewer protections. If they strike for better conditions, the same managers and other lower non-agreement employees will benefit. The interests of both groups overlap here.

The enemy of your enemy....

Guess they could try to organize themselves as a “craft”.

you can't strike as a non-union member. that's the point of having a union. if they really want to make an impact then after they take their week off they can call in and say i'm turning in my notice....effective immediately. it'll never happen but wouldn't it be beautiful for one day lance to realize every single manager had quit on him.

If the junior managers strike they’ll be out the door right away.
