Leading Performance

Don’t worry. Leading Performance will be the way Chevron comes out on top.

What concerns me is that we're losing the ~5-10 year employees (anecdotally aware of 3 since this started, two were on Monday). They're smart, hard working, and choosing to leave Chevron. I've heard rumors that HR is having trouble attracting new talent.

We had the GM of leading performance talk at one of our town halls. He talked for 20 minutes and actually said nothing. The only piece of substance I got out of it is that we should use stretch targets as the numbers for the business plan. Where did that get us in AMBU - f—ging a dead horse for 5 years longer than we should have with a few billion sunk in a hole.

In true Chevron fashion, The Path To Recovery will be paved with: a) more meetings; b) more acronyms; c) MUCH more a$$ kissing; and d) constant admonishment to "BE SAFE".

The UMT just this week, met on this topic, I have seen the slides. Depressing really, NFC in this environment, just ask the folks on the front line? At this rate, yes, a serious headcount is a good idea, starting with these LP staff blowhards.

We heard it from the top, our strategic imperatives enable and accelerate.

No but seriously, I can’t believe they are still pushing this c-ap. Even this week, with oil price where it is at. Aren’t there more important things to be doing right now. When the overwhelming response to the CES was to simplify, I don’t agree that it meant to ‘pinch off’ yet another corporate initiative. FFS. Just MHO.

That’s right! Just ask your MD. If you have ideas to transform your BU, they want to hear them. 😂
